Our Story
Will is a lifelong farm boy who has farmed with his father Bruce his entire life. After graduating from the University of Guelph, Will returned home to purchase his own farm and, shortly thereafter, Will and Tara were married. Tara also grew up on a family farm and shares Will’s passion for agriculture. Will and Tara believe that their involvement in agriculture has been one of the most influential factors in their lives and they believe it is important to foster the same love for agriculture in their three kids.
Our Products
Our beef is available in halves or quarter package. Our quarter will range between $800-$990 and it includes a variety of cuts including steaks, roasts, ground beef, stir-fry strip, ribs and more. Our cattle are raised outdoors, grazing for food naturally as they grow. We take pride in how we raise our animals and believe a happy and healthy animal provides healthier and better quality meat. Our beef is hung to dry age for a minimum of 21 days to improve flavour and allow the meat to tenderize over time. We believe this patient process enhances the quality and eating experience of our beef.

MacArthur Farms is located in the heart of the Kawartha Lakes. We are a family farm producing beef. Our top priority is to provide a quality, local, fresh product for our customers while using sustainable farming practices. We pride ourselves on being able to offer beef that is local, farm raised and delicious.
