Our History
Anna's Perennials nursery and gardens opened in 2006 on the 95-acre woodland parcel. We cleaned up part overgrown with invasive weeds and brush to start the nursery, and then our small garden center. Inspired by English country garden centres, we planted an extensive garden to showcase the variety of perennials, shrubs and garden possibilities.
Our Philosophy
To grow healthy plants and make customers happy. We want to share the love of gardening, with as many customers as possible We are here to help you choose the perfect plant for your garden, and if you need, help with garden design.
What Makes Us Unique
We have 3+ acres of gardens, based on ecological planting: the right plant for the right place. We have a unique drought-tolerant garden. It has poor, very sandy, well-drained soil. The four big garden beds planted with winter hardy cacti, alpines, sempervivums, grasses, and dwarf evergreens. A short walk and you are in the woodland garden. Full of shade-loving bulbs, perennials, and shrubs planted under the canopy of mostly maples. Then there are 4 full sun beds, and the field, filled with perennials and vegetables.
Experiences We Offer
We invite you to slow down and enjoy the beauty of the gardens and nature. The woodland garden is a sanctuary for many birds. We have many species of butterflies and bees. It is common to see blue herons, ospreys, and turkey vultures flying over our property.
