Globus Theatre @ the Lakeview Arts Barn

The Lakeview Arts Barn, an event venue and home to Globus Theatre, is located just outside the picturesque village of Bobcaygeon. Since 2003, Globus Theatre has offered patrons a diverse and thoroughly entertaining professional summer season full of music, comedy and drama with a focus on Canadian plays and new works, as well as an eclectic mix of murder mysteries and comedy nights at other times throughout the year. The 150-seat black-box theatre offers comfortable seating and an intimate experience that allows each audience member to feel truly immersed in the performance. To add to the evening, our attached restaurant provides patrons with the option to enjoy a fantastic 3 course dining experience prior to each evening show featuring locally grown fare and a widely acclaimed fully stocked bar offering a wide selection of scotches, Ontario wines and local brews (reservation essential).

The theatre itself is completely removable to reveal the original, stunning, hardwood dance floor, giving guests access to over 7,000 sq ft of banquet facility. The LAB is the perfect venue for a wedding, corporate event, fundraiser or pretty much any type of event you care to mention! Our culinary team can cater events of 400+ people and offer a range of dining options from the basic to the gourmet!
