Our Story
MacArthur's Pumpkin Patch has become a popular family attraction for over 14 years! Bruce MacArthur started farming in 1978! He grew up in a local farming community and developed a great appreciation for farmers, their hard work and their passion to provide fresh and local food for their surrounding communities! The MacArthur Pumpkin patch is located near Oakwood Ontario. It is a family run business, everyone is involved from Bruce’s grandchildren to his adult children, everyone plays a part! Looking for a fun fall-winter family experience make the trek to “the patch” it is fun for all ages!
Our Products
August 1 starts with Fresh Picked Corn, then into the fall decor, preserves, apple cider, squash , gourds, and loads of pumpkins of all shapes and sizes! Sunflower field. Ask about our Yoga night in the sunflower field. Tons of activities: giant Jenga, pumpkin bowling, pumpkin Tic Tac Toe, checkers, slides, basketball, hockey, soccer, hamster wheel, straw bales to climb, tractors to climb, corn hole and so much more! MacArthur's Pumpkin Patch transforms into MacArthur’s Christmas Market. Drop by Friday, Saturday, or Sunday for a “Christmas experience”. Balsam Fir Christmas Trees, fresh wreaths, preserves, local honey, apple cider, cheese, meets local makers and more. Enjoy a hot beverage while making Smores over the open fires!
Where and how you can purchase our products
Open Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holiday Mondays 9:00 am – 6:00 pm starting August thru to December. We are closed the remainder of the months. Located at Highway #7 and Taylor’s Corners. (2.2 km east of Oakwood).
