Diju Farm
Diju Farm is a small self sustaining Farm located in Kirkfield, Ontario.
Judi Corbett lives on 20 acres of raw land, where her honey bees thrive on the local flowering native plants. Due to the Carden Plains unique properties, this land makes for excellent ranch land but very poor farming land. As a result, these bees are not exposed to herbicides or pesticides like most other bees deal with. Judi uses only organically approved mite treatments and strives to produce bees that can survive in our cold Ontario Climate with minimal assistance. The Carden Plains has a very specific micro-climate with many rare forms of flora and fauna and this is reflected in the wonderful taste of Judi’s honey. Our rich soil might be very shallow but it is extremely fertile and full of quality nutrients.
Livestock Guardian dogs are used to keep local predators away from the animals, allowing us to all live in harmony!
